Hi
Our bikes (star trac spinners) are looking pretty bad. Rust spots and just dirty in places. I volunteered to come in and do some extra cleaning. Any suggestions about what to clean them with? The website for star trac just says non-abrasive cleaner. Is there anything safe that will polish them up a bit? Any thoughts? Thanks! |

If your bikes are bad (paint worn/faded and lots or rust) over the next week or two I would check if you have any students who work at a car dealership or in a body shop. The guys/gals who do dealer prep have lots of secrets on how to clean-up painted surfaces and bring them back to life. Body shop techs can also give you suggestions on how to revive old paint; and/or how to deal with the rust on both the frame and flywheel.
